NETWORKING EVENTS

Registration is obligatory for all networking events at the conference. For catering purposes, please indicate on the registration form which networking event you will attend and whether you will be accompanied (limited to one accompanying person). Please note that for some events we have a limited number of participants and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Welcome drink and early registration

Included in registration fee

Early registration will take place on Sunday 18 September as from 16:00 at BluePoint (congress venue). It is followed by a Welcome Drink from 18:00 to 19:30. Registration will continue on Monday at 08:00 and throughout the week.

Icebreaker

Included in registration fee

The Icebreaker will take place on Monday 19 September at the Centre for Fine Arts Bozar (in Horta Hall) from 18:30 to 22:00.

The Centre for Fine Arts building is the masterpiece of the Belgian architect Victor Horta, whose reputation transcends borders. For a large part classified as a historical monument, this enormous building boasts an available surface of 33'000m². Situated right in the middle of the Mont des Arts, where the upper part of Brussels meets the lower part, the Centre for Fine Arts is the most visited cultural destination in Brussels.

Buses will depart from BluePoint at 18:15 and take participants directly to the Icebreaker venue. There is no return transfer organised but there are plenty and convenient public transport connections.

Conference dinner

Additional fee of 10 EUR per person (conference participant and accompanying person)

The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday 21 September from 19:00 to 23:00 at the Comics Art Museum.

Located in the heart of Brussels, in a majestic Art Nouveau building created by the famous architect Victor Horta in 1906, the Belgian Comic Strip Centre is an unmissable attraction located in the heart of Brussels, and has been honouring the creators and heroes of the 9th Art for more than 25 years.

The regularly renewed permanent exhibitions and a diversified programme of temporary exhibitions enable visitors to discover the countless aspects of cartoon strip.
